South Florida homeowners love good film. In fact, a friendly group of Fort Myers real estate owners get together once a week to view and discuss a modern classic. This week, the crew met in a Fort Myers luxury home to share their opinions on True Romance.

Gary Samson is an executive who hosted the get-together. The owner of several beautiful Fort Myers homes for sale, Gary explained that True Romance is undoubtedly a modern classic. He explained to the other Fort Myers real estate owners that Reservoir Dogs writer Quentin Tarantino and Top Gun director Tony Scott teamed up to create the 1990s’ Bonnie and Clyde-like web of crime, murder and mayhem. He says the movie is a bit violent, but it is beautifully constructed at the same time.

Gayle Johnson is another group member with homes for sale in Fort Myers. Gayle claimed that the superb movie is about a shy, comic-book and kung-fu fighting film loving gent, Christian Slater as Clarence Worley. The Fort Myers real estate owners learned that the young man quickly falls in love with a pie-loving prostitute from Tallahassee, Alabama Whitman, portrayed by Patricia Arquette.

Mike Carter is a Fort Myers real estate owner who detailed how the two unlikely lovers find themselves in possession of a suitcase full of illegal narcotic belonging to the mob, and the newlyweds embark on an eventful journey from Detroit to Los Angeles to sell the drugs and begin a new life with the fortune. Just about every Fort Myers real estate owner loves how both the police and the mob are close on the couple’s trail for murdering Alabama’s pimp and fleeing with $5 million worth of product.

Mike pointed out to the other Fort Myers real estate owners how the film is filled with top-notch cameos. He explained that his favorite is Gary Oldman, who is priceless as the woman’s pretty-faced employer.

On top on a wonderful soundtrack, True Romance features colorful characters with memorable dialogue. George Stein, the only doctor in the Fort Myers real estate owners’ club prefers Dennis Hopper’s part. The Fort Myers real estate owners love how Sicilians acquired dark skin and hair, while Christopher Walken singularly personified the face of evil.

Cindy Cruise is a Fort Myers real estate owner who prefers Val Kilmer’s part as Elvis over Walken, as well as James Gandolfini as a ruthless hit-man, and even Jack Black shows up in one of the deleted sequences. Cindy also pointed out to the Fort Myers real estate owners that one of the most memorable characters is Brad Pitt as Floyd, the long-haired burn-out.

All of the star power concludes with a bloody shoot-out that leaves the couple riding off into the sunset, free to embark on their new life together in Mexico. They even have an offspring, properly named Elvis. As the movie concluded in Gary’s gorgeous home, The Fort Myers real estate owners all clapped as if they were attending the film’s premiere in Hollywood.
