Not every middle-aged man living in South Florida loses his thick head of hair. But there are still plenty who do. They are left with no choice but to walk around bald, in a hat, or paying lots of money for surgeries. Some guys even join hair clubs to get somebody else’s hair glued onto their heads. Going bald has nothing to do with wearing a hat in your youth. It is all genetic and passed down from your mother’s side of the family.

Long gone are the days of your long and beautiful hair blowing in the wind. As your body ages, your hair follicles lose their color and strength. You can hope for your gorgeous hair to grow back the way it once did, about half an inch every month. However, many men go bald. At the same time, the bodies of older men, as well as aged women, often pop out hair with weak strands that often break off. Fortunately, there are a number of fantastic tricks for Parkland real estate owners to keep their precious hair follicles as dark and strong as ever.

The first trick to maintaining dark and firm hair is the most obvious, taking proper care of it in the shower. Avoid washing it too much, as shampoo dehydrates hair, causing it to grow weak and fall out. Of course, washing your hair a few times a week is fine, as long as you depend on a sulfate-free shampoo. Too often, the products containing sulfate are made with nasty detergents that soak up the natural oils from your hair, rather than dirt and oil.

Besides shampooing their hair, people with homes for sale in Parkland should also condition it on a regular basis to keep it from becoming dehydrated. Conditioners can keep your hair nourished, even without the use of shampoo. A properly nourished head of hair is usually an attractive one, free from broken hair follicles. Specialists throughout South Florida recommend conditioning your hair one or two times every week.

Always be cautious of what type of comb or brush you use on your head. You never want to get split ends. If your hair gets tangled, never pull it out, as it can break off. You should also depend on ionic dryers and hot rollers over curling irons to prevent heat damage to your hair.

When at the salon or the barbershop, do not cut the length of your hair. Only the ends need to be trimmed down. If you simply must have long hair right away, you can take advantage of hair extensions to add 3 or 4 inches to its length. Make sure you match your natural hair color. The clip-in types of hair extensions look and feel the best.

As long as you take the best care of your hair as possible, you may be able to prevent it from falling out. Still, it is sometimes inevitable for men and even women with Parkland luxury homes to lose the beautiful hair on their heads.
