There’s a small group of Delray Beach real estate owners that gets together every weekend to laugh at a classic comedy. Most recently, the Delray Beach real estate had a ball watching Bill Murray in the timeless Groundhog Day.

The movie was shown at Jake Sears’s house. He is a young attorney with a few different Delray Beach homes for sale, and he has absolutely loved Murray since he played Carl Spakler in the hilarious Caddyshack. Jake asked the other Delray Beach real estate owners what they you do if they were stuck in one place and every day was exactly the same?

Jake explained to the attendees with homes for sale in Delray Beach that the 1993 film was directed by Ghostbusters’ Harold Ramis. Murray is Phil Connors, an egocentric and cocky TV meteorologist from Pittsburgh. The man hates his annual assignment covering the Groundhog Day event on February 2nd in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania. Yet for some unknown reason, Phil finds himself repeating the same day over and over again. The Delray Beach real estate owners call it déjà vu.

The Delray Beach real estate owners laughed at Phil being trapped in the small town with two of his coworkers. After the Groundhog Day celebration concludes, a blizzard develops that traps the news crew in Punxsutawney. But when the weatherman awakens the next morning, he finds it is February 2nd again.

The Delray Beach real estate owners realize that Phil is caught in an endless time loop.  In fact, every detail of the day unfolds the same way, over and over again. Eventually, Phil decides to live through the day with zero consequences, seducing women, stealing money, overeating and driving drunk.

Penny Carpenter, the owner of a Delray Beach luxury home, claims the most memorable moment of the flick is when he grabs an elderly woman in his hotel and smacks a big kiss right on her face. Several other Delray Beach real estate owners agreed.

The Delray Beach real estate owners laugh at Phil living as if there’s no tomorrow, and attempts to do himself in. He survives a car wreck, being stabbed, shot, poisoned, frozen, hung, electrocuted and burned. Yet, every morning he wakes up without a scratch on him, not a dent in the fender. Every time he dies, he simply arises the next morning in the same fashion as every other Groundhog Day.

The Delray Beach real estate owners giggled as Murray spends the day performing many heroic services, such as performing the Heimlich Maneuver on a choking man. Phil also uses the day to learn French, play piano, and become an ice sculptor.

Eventually, Bill Murray becomes a friend to every citizen in Punxsutawney. Finally, he wakes up next to the woman who stole his heart. Better yet, it is finally the 3rd of February. The intimate group of Delray Beach real estate owners holds a special place in his or her heart for Groundhog Day. next week, the Delray Beach real estate owners plan to laugh at Fletch.
