Aventura real estate owners who consider themselves Fab Four fanatics are psyched that Sir Paul McCartney will be heading to Miami’s American Airlines Arena on Wednesday, July 5. On the road with the One On One tour since last year, concertgoers will experience “A Hard Day’s Night” for the first time since the Beatles performed it onstage in 1965. True fans can always get themselves ready for the show with the right McCartney CD and DVD.

Released in the summer of 2007, Memory Almost Full features Paul playing just about every chord on each instrument in the record. It was the knight’s first release with the Starbucks/Concord Music Group’s label Hear Music. The opener, “To Be Said,” features a short string quartet and pulls its words from a delicate 2001 poem that Paul penned for his late wife, Linda, in his Blackbird Singing book.

“Bring the Dawn” is a magnificent production featuring an orchestra’s worth of brass and booming drums. Next, the former Beatle sings the nice pop number mixed with electronica, “Memory Almost Full,” a likely choice for the first single. The roaring “Love Hear My Thunder” sounds like the Rolling Stones, while “Of Soul” is a funky jazz piece unlike anything else in the vast McCartney catalog. “Cracks in the Earth” is a piano ballad, and “Buy the Farm” is a rock single that reminds listeners of the Steve Miller Band. The best song is the upbeat “It Happens Every Time.” “Silent Water” features a piano, an organ, and poetic lyrics, and “God Damn Rock ‘n Roll” has a punk edge to it.

“Pizza and Fairytales” is the most Beatle-esque work, as it is exactly what Lennon accused McCartney of being during a mid-70s’ argument. Paul has gone on record several times claiming that the insult would make a great title. Finally, “Pictures in Song Suite” is a 15-minute track that is divided into four movements, reminiscent of “A Day in the Life.”

For those classic rock fans who prefer watching Paul on DVD in their homes for sale in Aventura, 2002’s Back in the U.S. mixes his concert footage from the previous year with documentary info. Paul explains in the film’s opening credits that tour’s energy in the stands is comparable to the Beatles’ hype, but it is no longer only 16-year old girls. Under an enormous video monitor displaying the 1960s’ British Invasion, the singer appears center stage in a blazer, T-shirt, and jeans. Besides Paul’s red T and a matching lava lamp, everything on the massive platform is black, from the band’s clothes to the instruments and the speakers.

The DVD’s documentary entails the tour manager sharing aspects of his working life with the audience, while Paul’s wardrobe lady displays his favorite outfits. Finally, Sir Paul expresses in Back in the U.S. that he has no urge to retire from the music industry, as he simply loves his job. Let’s just hope Aventura luxury homeowners will get to experience some of the material in Miami this summer.
