Why do Naples real estate owners spend their money on paintings in homes for sale? Is it just to feel make the place more attractive, to fill up the wall so it’s not covered in white, or because they actually love and appreciate art?

For a lot of people on the market for a new home in Florida, a painting is simply a filler, to cover up that white stuff on the wall. That way, no one will complain about being blinded by all the white, or so they don’t say your house for sale is too “plain.”

Other times, people just buy to art feel good about themselves. They’re cruising around a market place and see a piece of work. If they have a little bit of extra money to spend, a transaction will be made.

But what about those art galleries where paintings sell for thousands of dollars, why would anyone pay so much? Painting is a form of art and individuals don’t mind spending an arm and a leg to put something up in their homes for sale in Naples.

One guy may see a painting as a simply a painting. Others can see it as a masterpiece and pay good money for it is completely acceptable. On top of that, artists often spend their lives struggling to sell their artwork. They do it for the passion, the love of art, not for the money.

Every homeowner has his or her own style, whether it is far out, or very similar to others. No one artist’s work in your home is the same. That’s the beauty of it. The work you hang in your home doesn’t have to be perfect. For example, beach oil paintings are never perfect. Oils travel in places that aren’t desired, but that’s what makes them even more of an art, not the exact play-by-play booklet on how to draw a beach.

Plenty of times, great paintings are born from mistakes. A painting in a living room can make all the difference as to how you feel in the room. If it’s a dark room with a dark painting, it might make you feel depressed, or not as happy. On the other hand, a bright and colorful painting, whether it is beach oil paintings or village paintings, can give good vibes, ones that put you in a better mood because you can see the light.

Along with that, you can tell a painting that is effortless and one that took effort. But even more so, the art that was made with heart. Hearts are something that shines through in paintings. You can see someone’s passion for what they do with the little details, as well as a lack of passion.

Art is so deep that it is sometimes impossible to grasp. We may never understand it. We may realize a few years down the road what something meant, or sometimes it might come to us instantly. Art that has passion carries a message, and it’s up to the Naples luxury homeowner to uncover that message.
