Knocked Up stands as one the hottest romantic comedies seen on Stuart real estate. In his first starring role, The 40 Year Old Virgin’s Ben Stone is Seth Rogen, an unemployed slacker who hooks up with Alison, played by Katherine Heigl, at a trendy Los Angeles club.

Alison ends up having a one-night-stand with the funny bachelor. A few weeks later, she figures out that she is pregnant. The career woman decides to summon the father for help. The news catches Ben off-guard, as he still shares room and board with four similar foul-mouthed boys. The man’s initial reaction to the pregnancy is one of confusion, as he simply cannot imagine settling down into a family man.

The couple quickly becomes friends with benefits, but things eventually turn sour. Their outlooks on relationships completely clash.  Despite the characters’ irresponsibility and pregnancy-fueled mood swings, the two make it through their ups and downs.

While seeing Knocked Up on the big screen was a blast, it is even funnier on DVD in Stuart luxury homes. The Extended and Unrated version includes over three hours of deleted goodies, commentary, short documentaries, extended scenes, and other segments that will not be soon forgotten.

The additional extras include a nice selection of “Deleted Scenes.” The film’s main couple argues over him not crying after seeing the results of an ultrasound. One of the man’s best buddies speculates on dating the unborn girl when she’s 18. The fellas’ memorable remarks while watching the barbaric birth on video are simply fantastic. “Shove it back in lady, it’s not done yet,” one cat cries.

In “Extended/Alternative Scenes,” folks with Stuart Florida real estate condos see a doctor compare delivering a child to working at Dunkin’ Donuts. The DVD is also filled with hysterical shorts showing how each actor improvised his lines several times, like in a casino and spending time with a gassy man. “The Gag Reel” entails tongue-tied funnies from the entire cast.

There’s also a documentary that centers around Knocked Up’s actors filming the adventurous scene at Knott’s Berry Farm in Buena Park, California many times. One cast members explains that his “freaking out” and look of horror wasn’t at all acting. He continues describing the authentic tears that fell.

Another part of Knocked Up’s extras on DVD for men and women with homes for sale in Stuart FL consist of four musicians singing a live version of a “You Can’t Fail Me Now.”  The short and stupid “Topless Scene” shows raw footage of the movie’s chubby protagonist hanging out inside an office building without a shirt. Finally, viewers get an option of a “Feature Commentary” by Knocked Up’s young director, Judd Apatow coming off the commercial success of The 40 Year Old Virgin.

It’s intriguing to get the filmmaker’s point of view in his video diaries that cover 22 of the 55 days of shooting. There is so much golden material found, there’s no excuse for not picking up the DVD. Sure, it was all fun and laughs in the theater, but you just might want to get Knocked Up again.
