29 Sunshine Kids and their families along with 8 nurses from Alaska, Oregon, New York, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Kentucky, and Texas had “Fun-N-Sun” in Orlando November 1st – 5th!
They stayed at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort and volunteers from Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Realty decorated the activity room, greeted The Kids at the airport and hotel, accompanied The Kids to Disney theme parks and to Universal Studios / Islands of Adventure, hosted breakfast each morning, chaperoned at the Hard Rock dinner & Blue Man Group show, hosted a pizza party and assisted at the final night’s dance party that included a DJ and photo booth.
Jeannie Wilson, Managing Broker, Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Realty – Winter Park Branch Sales Office, arranged for and coordinated all of the volunteers for the week!
Jeannie also arranged for the breakfast food donations from WaWa, and fully catered breakfasts by TooJays and Sihle Insurance Agency, pizza donated from Papa John’s, and raised money to pay for table decorations, the DJ and photo booth. The salad for the pizza party was donated by Beth Kerns, Florida Title & Guarantee Agency and EverBank!
The volunteers were from Berkshire Hathway HomeServices Florida Realty’s Winter Park, Windermere, and Oviedo Branch Sales Offices: Laurel Kellett, Nesha Zeigler, Alan Gill, Samantha Jarvis, Ashley Boyd, Viviana Katz, Helen Arvin, Diane Topoleski, Angelica Santiago, Abby Hilmer, Christy Hilmer, Dan Haggerty, Hector Novoa, Georgia Bryant, Norma Rodriguez, Rene Murray, Dore Baratta, Jay Baratta, Douglas Allshouse, Ana Maria Bosque, Krisey Littlejohn, Beth Kerns, and Jeannie Wilson’s family – Kalee, Rhett and Mack Wilson.
