Home owners of Weston luxury homes typically are well satisfied with their living space. The initial builders know how to construct these types of luxury homes to please most anyone. If you were lucky enough, you may have actually taken part in the design construction from the beginning along with the builder. Enjoying all those perks and pluses you have always wanted in Weston luxury homes is part of what makes home ownership such a delight.

It may have been a few years or just a couple since the initially foundation was laid.  Over time, design tastes can change. Even the most well laid plans and style can shift as lifestyles change and home design aesthetics progress.

Experts Predict 2016 Remodeling Efforts to Increase

2016 may be the year for many different types of home improvements to take place across the country, including Weston luxury homes. According to the Leading Indicator of Remodeling Activity (LIRA), expenditures for facelifts on homes may be better this year than they have been in the recent past.

Predictions are for an accelerated rise in the amount of money spent on improving Weston luxury homes and other properties nationwide.

Numbers released by the Remodeling Futures Program at the Joint Center for Housing Studies of Harvard University, which is a collaborative unit affiliated with the Harvard Kennedy School and the Harvard Graduate School of Design, expect spending for home remodeling projects to increase from 4.3 percent in the first quarter of 2016 to 7.6 percent in the third quarter. If this holds true, then the level of annual spending will beat the previous peak for home improvement spending, which was set in 2006.

Thanks to the continued recovery in the housing market, this year is looking to be a stronger year for home renovation than it was in 2015, reports the Managing Director of the Joint Center Chris Herbert.

Remodeling Trends for Weston Luxury Homes

Weston luxury homes have a sense of style all to themselves. Lying in the western boundary of Broward County, Weston luxury homes are often on the leading edge of home design. You may find that home owners living in the vicinity are renovating their homes with some of these nouveau home décor trends:

  • Black stainless steel: Forget the shiny or textured stainless steel in the kitchen, black stainless is riding the wave of future kitchen design.
  • Cabinet Duos: Adding appeal to kitchens may be seen in choosing differing yet complimentary cabinet styles, textures, or colors. Mismatched kitchen cabinets will start making the scene in kitchens everywhere.
  • Mirrors with Story: Kitchens aren’t the only place to catch the new wave of home decorating updates, bathrooms also are expected to make their own statements beginning with statement mirrors. Chunk the rectangular mirror for one with pizzazz and style.
  • Living Bathroom Space: Luxury hotels and upscale restaurants often have chairs, tables, and other inviting pieces just off the facilities. Why not add that little piece of comfort in your own home? A getaway spa space that can be your own home away from home.
