You do not need to be a genius to figure out that not every man and woman wants to live in the same type of house, condo, or apartment. While folks prefer living near nightlife and excitement, others prefer solitude. Often times, South Florida homeowners want to live on golf courses or retirement communities with their friends and neighbors. Professionals often like residing in a quality school district near the freeway, if not the Intracoastal or even the beach. As any Palm Beach Gardens real estate professional will tell you, “Different strokes for different folks.” It all depends on one’s personal preferences.

Sally Smith is a 28-year-old marketing rep who recently bought her own home in Palm Beach Gardens. Originally, she expected to be making excellent money after graduating from Florida State University in Tallahassee. Her father had a great job lined up for her that included traveling across the nation to sell his designer shoes to various malls. Unfortunately, that job wasn’t everything she had hoped. Not only was working for her old man a pain in the neck but her sales figures we not too impressive. Earning such low commission, Sally had to take another job as a bartender on nights and weekends. At least now was independent enough to find her own home for sale in Palm Beach Gardens. While the property may not be large, it is both comfortable and beautiful. Best of all, Sally in now free from her father. Woo Hoo!

Jimmy Sanchez lives in a modest size Palm Beach Gardens home with his wife, Maria, and their two young girls. While the 41-year-old advertising sales rep is stuck in his office five days a week, he tries to spend every Saturday and Sunday on a golf course. As much as Jimmy loves his family, he wants to be alone as much as possible when playing the game. Not even Jimmy’s best buddies are invited to cruise along the golf course with him. After all, that is where the man usually comes up with his ideas for work. For instance, Jimmy was hitting 18 holes when he thought of a catchy jingle for a local ice cream shop. The song was soon recorded and used on TV, radio, and websites to promote the shop. As a direct result, sales have increased, as well as Jimmy’s salary. He owes it all to his time alone on the golf course. Not even Jimmy’s wife can complain about that.

Finally, there is Alan Seagal. The 76-year-old recently retired from the auto sales industry and relocated to a Palm Beach Gardens luxury home. Living alone, Alan is confident that the place is too large. However, he doesn’t mind. He is close enough to there a big lake where he can take out a small boat and go fishing. Upon occasion, Alan catches a fish or two. Yet he just throws them right back into the water. Rather than trying to feed himself, Alan is out there merely for sport.
