Working at a Palm Beach Gardens real estate office for several years, Jane Walker has seen thousands of properties throughout South Florida. She has personally sold mansions in West Palm Beach, Boca Raton, Aventura, and Miami Beach. The executive also deals with plenty of condos, including waterfront property in Delay Beach, Coral Springs, and Coral Gables. She has sold homes to single millennials, middle-aged couples with kids, and plenty of retired folks escaping cold winters up north. In her line of business, Jane has seen it all. But there are a few properties that she will never forget.

Perhaps the most memorable sale that Jane ever had was a Palm Beach Gardens luxury home along the Atlantic Ocean at the beginning of her career in the Nineties. Not only was the property huge, it was gorgeous as well. It featured giant windows that overlooked the beach. It had electronic window shades that could be set to automatically go up and down with a timer. The home also features five nice sized bedrooms, along with a 3-car garage and a gated entrance. Jane remembers thinking that she would’ve bought that house if only she could’ve afforded it back then.

Another property that Jane will never forget is a giant apartment that she sold on the Intracoastal in Deerfield Beach. Not only did the 2-2 home feature its own boat dock, but the property also has a private hot tub located in the backyard, as well as an indoor stream room. The apartment complex featured its own gym, swimming pool, and tennis courts. But Jane’s personal favorite amenity was the private racquetball court that all residents could use. She remembers selling the place to a couple of snowbirds, a retired couple from New York. Jane remembers thinking it was too bad that the property didn’t go to a younger couple who would take advantage of the scenic property twelve months a year.

Most recently, Jane sold a Palm Beach Gardens luxury home that was located just off I-95. It was spectacular. Located right next to a private golf course, the property was perfect for a large family. It had five bedrooms, four baths, a full bar, and a built-in game room. The game room featured a full-sized Ms. Pac Man, as well as a pinball machine. Best of all, there was a full-sized pool table for men, women, and children to play. In other words, there was plenty of space and entertainment to throw outrageous parties at this house. The family that moved in from San Antonio, Texas even bought a golf cart that they now keep in their giant 3-car garage.

Finally, Jane once sold a petite condo in Boca Raton’s Century Village. The reason she will never forget it is because she sold the place to her mother-in-law. That meant that she would hear from her husband’s retired mother four times a day while the deal was in progress. She wanted to know how it was coming along and what the latest developments were. Despite Jane telling her everything she knew as soon as she knew it, her mother in law couldn’t resist checking in with her several times a day. Doh!
