It doesn’t matter if your children are in the 2nd grade or seniors in high school, summer break is a fun and exciting time. After all, school is out for months at a time. That means you get to travel, whether it is away with the family or to sleepaway camp in the woods with some of their best buddies. One thing is for sure, few kids want to hang around their Miami Beach real estate for more than a few days at a time.

Max Carter is a 16-year-old jock who is going to start his senior year pretty soon. He is spending 9 weeks working as a CIT (counselor in training) for 12-year-old boys in North Carolina. After spending the last 4 years on the mountain as a camper, Max is confident he is an amazing leader for the cabin. After all, he is their mentor, showing them how to do things like start a fire and put up a tent. Max is also their trusted friend, giving the boys advice about how to talk to older campers, as well as young ladies. One kid staying in Max’s cabin named Ryan is a neighbor of his back home in South Florida.

About a year ago, Ryan and his parents bought a gorgeous home for sale in Miami Beach on the same street as Max and his family. Right away, their mothers became the best of friends. They now play bridge together at least once a week. The two dads do not necessarily like one another. They always seem to bicker about who is the best quarterback, what is the most luxurious sedan, and who would make the best talk show host. They cannot seem to agree on anything. They do their best to behave around the children, despite the sarcastic remarks and cold looks that appear every now and then. It makes Ryan uncomfortable. In fact, that’s one of the reasons why Ryan spends as much time as possible at the beach, away from his parents and their neighbors.

Jill is a 14-year old girl who lives in a giant mansion on the ocean in Miami Beach. Summer is her favorite time of year because she gets to visit her favorite cousin who lives in Los Angeles. While Jill’s classmates are sweating in the Sunshine State’s humidity, she gets to chill out in Southern California. The two girls go to Venice Beach and ride a giant ferris wheel. Then they walk around Hollywood Blvd. and take pictures of the fancy stores, as well as the expensive cars. Every once in a while, Jill gets lucky and spots a movie Star. She claims that last year, she saw Larry David and Jerry Seinfeld eating at an outdoor café, but she didn’t want to bother them for an autograph.

Whether they go camping in the mountains, hanging out at the beach, or cruising around Los Angeles, the children living in Miami Beach luxury homes always seem to love their summer vacations.
