Boca Raton, Florida is a fairly large city, as it stretches from the Atlantic Ocean to further west than State Road 7. The city also has gorgeous homes, as well as shopping and entertainment venues. From children and millennials to middle-aged professionals and senior citizens, thousands of Boca Raton residents have their favorite spots to spend their free time.

Brad Wilcox is a 41-year-old stockbroker who recently purchased a small piece of Boca Raton real estate on 18th Street. Being an avid surfer, the bachelor wanted to be as close to the beach as possible. While Brad couldn’t afford a mansion on the water, he found an ideal house located just east of the Intracoastal. Now Brad can hop on his bike and cruise down to the beach whenever he wants, whether it is early in the morning, at sunrise or in the middle of the day on the weekend. No, Brad doesn’t live in a gated community with a fancy guard gate, but that doesn’t bother him. After all, a security guard isn’t going to offer his home anything that his giant Rottweiler named Taco can’t handle.

Unlike Brad, Dana Hawkins lives with a fairly large family. Besides her husband, she shares her Boca Raton luxury home with three children in grade school. Two of the kids are now in middle school. That means they like to spend as much as they can hanging out at Town Center mall. The young ladies don’t actually buy anything. Rather, they loiter in the corridors. Sometimes they meet up with boys their age and will play kissing games, such as spin the bottle, in the parking lot. The funniest part about the girls’ hangout is when they get dropped off and picked up from their parents. Poor mom and dad have to hide in the car behind a restaurant, as the teenagers are embarrassed to be seen getting in or out of a car that their mother or father are driving. But how else are they supposed to get to and from the mall?

Unlike her children, Dana’s favorite hangout in Boca Raton is Mizner Park. She would love to move into a giant luxury apartment over there with her family, as well as her two dogs. After all, Mizner Park is home to fabulous shopping, as well as upscale restaurants, like Max’s Grille, Kapow Asian Noodle Bar, Yard House, and Ruth’s Chris Steak House. After folks fill their bellies, they can have some fun at bars, like The Dubliner. Besides Gramercy Hair Salon Aveda, Mizner Park is also home to a fancy movie theater, along with a large amphitheater to enjoy live entertainment from huge artists, including the young guitar legend Derek Trucks at the annual Sunshine Music Festival every January. If only Dana could find a home for sale in Boca Raton’s Mizner Park, she would find a job somewhere in the middle of the action. That way, she would never have to leave the Mizner Park, with the exception of driving the kids to school. DOH!
