Fort Lauderdale real estate owners who appreciate a little fun in the sun are already getting excited about Riptide Music Festival taking place on the weekend of December 2 and 3. After all, this year’s line-up is extremely impressive for men, women, and children of various ages, as well as listeners to a wide variety of genres getting together on Fort Lauderdale Beach.

For starters, Saturday’s impressive line-up includes Cage the Elephant. Spectators will experience the Grammy-winning band recreating the familiar melodies from 2013’s Melophobia, including the two Number One singles on the Alternative charts, “Come a Little Closer” and “Cigarette Daydreams.” Perhaps folks are most looking forward to seeing the other Grammy winners, Weezer perform modern classics, like “Buddy Holly,” “Say It Ain’t So,” and “Hash Pipe.”

Perhaps the most underrated band performing at this year’s Riptide Music Festival is Iration. Known for their reggae meshed with alternative sounds, let’s just call their Hawaiian-bred music smooth. Led by vocalist and guitarist Micah Pueschel, Iration’s aloha spirit had been touring the nation for the last decade.

Sunday’s line-up for Riptide Music Festival looks to be even more exciting for South Florida music lovers. After all, KC and the Sunshine Band will close the show. Selling more than 100 million records and winning nine Grammys, KC and his mates’ pop sounds are still as big today as they were when they first danced onto the music scene 40 years ago. Local residents appreciate Harry Wayne Casey, also known as KC for short, for his unique fusion of R&B and funk, with a hint of a Latin percussion groove. Familiar radio hits include “That’s the Way (I Like It), “Get Down Tonight,” and the fun-loving “Shake Your Booty.”

R&B listeners will surely be dancing in the sand when Boyz II Men take the stage at Riptide Music Festival. The pair’s soulful vocals will bring thousands of concertgoers back to the golden days of MTV when they actually showed videos. Considering the enormous success of Boyz II Men’s work and their impressive voices, the fellas will certainly add some flavor to the Riptide event. Participants with homes for sale in Fort Lauderdale look forward to hearing cuts, like “End of the Road,” “I’ll Make Love to You,” and the timeless “One Sweet Day.”

Let’s not forget about Loverboy. It’s been more than 30 years that they’ve been recreating “Working for the Weekend,” but audiences still have a blast dancing to the familiar lyrics. Singer Mike Reno and guitar guru Paul Dean were making a name for themselves in Calgary when they ended up joining massive tours with everyone from Journey and Cheap Trick to ZZ Top and Def Leppard. Loverboy even had an effect on the culture, as plenty of young men and women began wearing skintight leather pants and bandanas to concerts throughout North America.

Needless to say, the first weekend in December will be an absolute blast for any and all Fort Lauderdale luxury homeowners that venue out to Riptide Music Festival.
