Sunday’s line-up for Riptide Music Festival looks to be even more exciting for South Florida music lovers. After all, KC and the Sunshine Band will close the show. Selling more than 100 million records and winning nine Grammys, KC and his mates’ pop sounds are still as big today as they were when they first danced onto the music scene 40 years ago. Local residents appreciate Harry Wayne Casey, also known as KC for short, for his unique fusion of R&B and funk, with a hint of a Latin percussion groove. R&B listeners will surely be dancing in the sand when Boyz II Men take the stage at Riptide Music Festival. The pair’s soulful vocals will bring thousands of concertgoers back to the golden days of MTV when they actually showed videos. Considering the enormous success of Boyz II Men’s work and their impressive voices, the fellas will certainly add some flavor to the Riptide event.
