Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Realty is proud to introduce Chalmers Morse as a new Sales Professional to our Vero Beach Branch Sales Office. He comes to us with years of impressive experience in real estate, as well as hotel management and extensive work with the Humane Society. Chalmers has been a member of an array of professional affiliations, ranging from the National Association of Realtors and Colorado Hotel and Lodging Association to sitting on the Board of Directors at FAAWO (Florida Association of Animal Welfare Organizations) and serving as President to the Snowman Lodging Association.
“We’re excited to have Chalmers join the team as he brings extensive real estate and professional experience with a friendly and caring personality,” remarked Carol Prezioso, Managing Broker, Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Realty ~ Vero Beach.
One of the most intriguing facts about Chalmers is that he coordinated visitations for Presidents Carter, Reagan, and George H.W. Bush, along with First Ladies Ford, Carter and Reagan when he was in the hotel business. Chalmers has been involved in numerous community organizations, including Anderson Ranch Art Center, the Episcopal Church, the Aspen School for the Deaf, and the Mayor’s Advisory on Child Care in Aspen, Colorado. While in Aspen, he owned and operated a real estate and construction company.
Chalmers was raised in Lake Forest, Illinois and studied Hotel Management at Paul Smith’s College in New York. He is happily married to Debra, a local educator. The couple’s son Chalmers Jr. and his wife Roxanne live in San Francisco. Their twins, Charlotte and William, work and reside in the Big Apple. If there is one word that best describes Chalmers, it is caring. He also credits Mark Twain with his favorite quote, “Give every day the chance to be the most beautiful day of your life.”
