Boca Raton real estate owners certainly appreciate quality filmmaking. That’s why a group of Boca Raton real estate owners meet once a week to discuss a masterpiece. Most recently, the group met in a beautiful home for sale in Boca Raton to analyze Francis Ford Coppola’s melodrama Apocalypse Now.

Sitting in one group member’s Boca Raton luxury home, attendees discussed the flick. Martin, a businessman with more than one Boca Raton home for sale explained that Apocalypse Now is based loosely on Joseph Conrad’s novel, Heart of Darkness, with the film set during the Vietnam War.

Martin told the other Boca Raton real estate owners that the film crew had to work through the violent weather, with sets sometimes being destroyed by typhoons. Millions of dollars were spent on scenes that were thrown out. Boca Raton real estate owners learned that Coppola fainted on the shooting scene once, and he didn’t know if he was dying of leaving the reality of his sanity.

Most Boca Raton real estate owners in attendance were surprise to learn that Harvey Keitel was originally cast as the leading role, Willard. But after one week of production, Francis decided to replace him with Martin Sheen. Everyone loved the fact that Marlon Brando decided to play the evil Kurtz. There was Robert Duvall, Dennis Hopper, and even a young Harrison Ford starring as well.

Julie, a local nurse who lives on Boca Raton real estate, claimed that Apocalypse Now was supposed to cost $14 million for a sixteen-week shoot. However, it ended up costing over $30 million. Coppola had to mortgage his home for more money. In the end, Apocalypse Now was successful.

The Boca Raton real estate owners agreed that Coppola properly display’s Willard’s dark side and primitive being. The viewers watched Willard get intoxicated in a hotel room. They feel the scene captures the character’s primitive self.

The Boca Raton real estate owners watched a young Harrison Ford, who granted him the assignment to take out Captain Kurtz. “Your mission is to terminate the Captain,” explained Ford. Willard accepted his mission, and traveled deep into the jungle to find Kurtz.

In the jungle, the Boca Raton real estate owners see Willard and his companions run into plenty of action. They find Robert Duvall, who is a crazy sergeant in battle. They love seeing Duvall and his men destroy a small village with opera music blaring over loud speakers.

Jamie, a Boca Raton real estate owner explained her favorite scene. During all of the bedlam during the combat, Duvall orders some soldiers to go surfing. Later, Willard and Kurtz finally meet. The protagonist takes out Kurtz in a ritualistic slaughter. Boca Raton real estate owners witnessed Willard’s oedipal relationship with the Cornel crystallize.
