There may be nobody better in the whole entertainment industry than the Cute One, Sir Paul McCartney. For decades, he has been putting out timeless albums that should be in every Oviedo real estate owner’s possession.

Released in 2005, along with a 37-city U.S. tour, Chaos and Creation in the Backyard finds the elder statesman tastefully restrained for his 20th studio recording at a solo artist.  At the recommendation of the Beatles’ manager, George Martin, it is produced by the creative Nigel Godrich of Radiohead.

Of the thirteen tracks, there are some poignantly penned numbers, such as “Hey Bulldog” and “Riding to Vanity Fair,” containing haunting chimes and heartfelt lyrics, matched with Fab-like multi-tracked vocals. “Jenny Wren,” which Paul has described as a “daughter of ‘Blackbird’,” and “Anyway” are great examples of his extraordinary gift for tender tunes, yet the simplistic rhymes and feel-good uppers manage to steer clear of cheesy pop numbers reminiscent of Wings. Other tracks, such as “At the Mercy” and “Too Much Rain,” are darker and quite personal.

“We really made a lot of it up as we went along,” Paul stated on his website. “I’d try something and if it didn’t work I’d try something else until it did.  It was like making a go-cart in the backyard.”

Chaos and Creation in the Backyard is one of Paul’s finest achievements with great depth lyrically and an introspective tone. The versatile musician provides almost all the instrumentation himself on the guitar, piano, bass, percussion, block flute, harmonium, and flugelhorn, on top of his undeniable songwriting talents. As a direct result, the record displays Sir Paul’s full range of matchless talents. The cut earned McCartney five Grammy nominations in 2005, including Album of the Year.

The following year, Sir Paul McCartney released a classical chant called Ecce Cor Meum, which translates as Behold My Heart. Numerous people with homes for sale in Oviedo claim the album is a serious piece of work, both musically and lyrically that took more than eight years to piece together. Recorded at the legendary Abbey Road Studios, it includes talents ranging from Kate Royal to the Boys of King’s College Choirs from both Cambridge and Oxford, as well as talent from the Academy of St. Martin’s in the Field.

The man’s idealistic texts were scored for choir and orchestra. They revolve around goodness, spirituality, peace, and love inside of romantic melodies. The cut’s long choral and orchestral sections flow one into the next. One number, “Interlude (Lament)” was composed after the death of his wife, Linda. The track contains a simple but moving oboe solo. The music builds throughout to an emotional climax for listeners of all generations. The greatly orchestrated organ is simply a beautiful delight.

The lyrics are rather simple and read like silly love songs. For example, in one number, the former Beatles executes “Truth is only reality/Nature truly is what we are/Peace is only nature at rest.” Paul’s penmanship serves to elevate his ordinary lyrics.  Regardless, Oviedo luxury homeowners feel his words become less important than how they actually blend into the emotional composition as a whole.
