Every December, Delray Beach real estate owners love hearing and singing holiday music, especially Christmas carols. Some of the tunes heard in homes for sale in Delray Beach topped the charts in the U.S., as well as other parts of the globe. Discover some Delray Beach real estate owners’ favorites, from Roy Orbison and Garth Brooks to Jon Bon Jovi and comedian Adam Sandler.

Jason Raiman owns a few different Delray Beach homes for sale. His favorite holiday song has to be the largely unknown “Pretty Paper” by the late great Roy Orbison. The executive with a gorgeous Delray Beach luxury home on the market explains that the single hit Number 15 in 1964. Written by Willie Nelson, the Christmas song has a full orchestra playing behind its chorus. Even Willie himself went on to record a couple different versions of the holiday treat. There is no question that “Pretty Paper” will be heard on Jason’s Delray Beach real estate throughout the month.

Of course, Jason’s neighbor prefers to play country music on his Delray Beach real estate. Throughout the evening, folks can hear songs like Dolly Parton’s “Hard Candy Christmas” blaring through the Delray Beach real estate. From the soundtrack to The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, “Hard Candy Christmas” made it to Number 8 on the Billboard charts.

Another single that Jason’s neighbor enjoys hearing on his Delray Beach real estate during Christmas season is Garth Brooks’ 1992 single, “Go Tell It on the Mountain.” The modern adaptation of an old classic did not reach the charts until the end of the millennium. As Jason tells other Delray Beach real estate owners, the track ended up inspiring Vanessa L. Williams to write her successful track “Mary Had a Baby” in the year 2000.

Adam Banks is one of Jason’s neighbors with enormous Delray Beach real estate of his own. Adam’s favorite holiday song to play is undoubtedly Jon Bon Jovi’s “I Wish Everyday Could Be Like Christmas.” Originally recorded as the B-side to Bon Jovi’s “Keep the Faith” single, “I Wish Everyday Could Be Like Christmas” later appeared on a rock star compilation known as A Very Special Christmas, another favorite among Delray Beach real estate owners.

Then there is a phenomenal Run-D.M.C. jingle, “Christmas in Hollis.” Recorded in 1987, the song tells a memorable tale about Santa visiting the band’s hometown of Hollis, a neighborhood in Queens, New York. The song can now be heard all over Hollywood, from Die Hard and Less Than Zero to “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” and The Night Before. “Christmas in Hollis” was even heard in a Nissan commercial last year.

Don’t forget about Chanukah songs, as several Delray Beach real estate owners celebrate eight days and nights of lights. Every year, Henry Levy can’t wait until December when he can change his ring tone to Adam Sandler’s timeless tune, “The Chanukah Song.” The Delray Beach real estate owner cracks up from the SNL act, making sure that Jewish children do not feel left out during the season of Saint Nick.
