There is no doubt that Boca Raton real estate owners appreciate the finer things in life, such as experiencing a live rock concert in South Florida anytime in the winter. Friends and family from the north flock to the area, while the locals get to wear long sleeves for a few weeks. Let’s take a look at what tourists, as well as residents, have to look forward to seeing onstage in December.

Staring out down south, concertgoers can travel to the Fillmore Miami Beach at the Jackie Gleason Theater on Saturday, December 9th to see Phil Collins. The rock star and his wife Orianne will be teaming up with Laura Pausini, KT Tunstall, Venezuela’s Nacho, Spanish soul artist Pitingo, and the local talent 5800 at the third annual Dreaming on the Beach Gala.

The following weekend, music lovers can check out Perpetual Groove mix their dub into the wee hours at Culture Room in Fort Lauderdale on both Friday, December 15 and Saturday the 16th.  The four boys from Athens, Georgia now possess a large catalog of originals that date back to 1997. The show is topped with an intense, retina burning, intelligent light show, confirming that no two performances are alike.

Men and women with homes for sale in Boca Raton can keep it going the next weekend in Broward County at Revolution Live in Fort Lauderdale on Thursday, December 21st. Psychobilly artist Reverend Horton Heat has quite an impressive cult following, along with a twisted sense of humor. Spectators can look forward to alternative rock with distorted guitars, along with a funk beat and poetic lyrics that mock preachers’ sermons.

Just before Christmas, folks with homes for sale in Boca Raton can keep it local with The Funky Biscuit. On Saturday, December 23rd, blues rockers will be celebrating the Allman Brothers Band at the Brothers & Sisters Annual Holiday Jam. Scott Sharrard will impress, as he once has with Buddy Miles. Marc Quinines played with the Brothers after meeting Butch Trucks in 1991, while Berry Duane Oakley’s Southern rock guitar has been heard with the Allman Brothers, Gov’t Mule and Dickey Betts.

Finally, Billy Joel will ring in the New Year again when he plays at BB&T Center in Sunrise on Sunday, December 31st. Thankfully, the New Yorker has decided to spend the last few New Year’s Eves in South Florida. Considering Billy Joel has not released an album of new music in over 20 years, you would think that his set-list would get stale. However, that couldn’t be further from the truth. Concertgoers will sing the familiar lyrics of more than two dozen tracks.

On December 31st, Billy is always expected to take things a notch higher. And the Rock & Roll Hall of Famer never disappoints. Things are sure to grow lively, as fans experience favorites, included “River of Dreams,” “Scenes from an Italian Restaurant” and “Piano Man.” All in all, Boca Raton luxury homeowners can expect to be treated to more than 2 hours of rock and roll for an epic New Year’s celebration.
