There are literally tens of thousands of Weston real estate owners who appreciate the Beatles. That is why so many of them own their records, as well as books written about the four lads from Liverpool. Let’s take a look at some of the most popular works in print written about the Beatles.

Larry Kane is a journalist who traveled with the boys on their 1964 invasion of the States and recounts the experiences in Ticket to Ride. His 2005 book, Lennon Revealed, assesses John, his private life, career, and murder from a personal approach. Kane utilized personal and honest recollections and interviews with many of the superstar’s friends and associates to describe John’s undeniable influences on cultural history.

Pivotal moments in John’s personal and professional lives are shared, revealing several facets of the complex celebrity. In the chapter ‘All You Need Is Love,’ Lennon’s childhood and early romances are explored. Kane also discusses his band’s highly protected public image in the cultural spotlight, describing the boys as “clean-cut and fabulously well-behaved.” John shares his blatant feelings about politics, the peace movement, and the war in Vietnam with the journalist as well.

The final chapter of Lennon Revealed is a collection of letters to the icon written by his fans. Titled ‘The Lennon Generations Speak,’ the section feels out of place to many Fab fans in homes for sale in Weston. They claim it does not connect to the rest of the book.

Another popular read is 1991’s Blackbird: The Life and Times of Paul McCartney by Geoffrey Giuliano. He is the same writer of thirty-six bestsellers, including The Beatles: A Celebration, as well as a biography on George. In 1986, Paul was interviewed, along with George, Yoko, Julian Lennon, and Pete Best for Giuliano’s next project.

In Blackbird, Giuliano captures Paul’s private life. The book spans four decades as it touches upon Paul’s relationships with the other Beatles, his thousands of fans and the press on both sides of the Atlantic. He explores Paul years as a teenager, as a Beatle and their rise to global success.

Blackbird offers no new information to readers, such as the band’s first appearance on Sullivan, and the murderous tale to follow “Helter Skelter.” Giuliano explains the turmoil surrounding the band’s final studio album, the memorable Abbey Road sessions. McCartney also discusses his up and down relationship with John, as well as facing his childhood mate’s murder.

There are in-depth descriptions of two of the most important women in the Beatles’ careers, therefore in music history. The initial meeting with the sweet Linda McCartney is talked about, along with her marriage to Paul. Linda is then compared to a condescending Yoko.

Along with the book’s fantastic photos of Paul’s bands and his family, the best contribution is an interview with Paul conducted at a pre-show press conference during his 1989/90 world tour. The subject discusses the immeasurable feeling of performing Beatles songs live for the first time in the Eighties.
There are certainly Fab reads available for Weston luxury homeowners.
