It makes no difference if you live in a lush piece of Miami Beach, Jupiter, Fort Myers or Fort Lauderdale real estate, you probably appreciate live music. Fortunately, there is plenty going on throughout the area. Let’s take a look at some of the most entertaining shows heading to South Florida in February.

Veteran Jesse Colin Young will headline at The Funky Biscuit in Boca Raton on Saturday, February 17. For 50 years, the man has been singing about peace, relationships, and the environment. From his folk days in Boston and his first record to his current Americana sound, Young is known for fusing jazz, blues, folk, and rock. The man’s group from the Sixties, The Youngbloods, has been heard by millions everywhere from the Forrest Gump and Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas to “The Simpsons” and a Pepsi commercial for the 1995 Super Bowl.

Don’t miss The Revolution at Revolution Live. Men and women with homes for sale in Fort Lauderdale who were kids in the eighties are ecstatic to see the late Prince’s ensemble onstage on Friday, February 23. Since being formed in Minneapolis in 1979 by the Purple One, the band’s sound has incorporated rhythm and blues, pop, funk, and psychedelia elements. The Revolution rose to international fame in the mid-1980s with Purple Rain, selling over 16 million albums in the United States and collecting three different Grammy Awards.

The very next night, Saturday, February 24, The Expendables will be performing at Culture Room in Fort Lauderdale. This group of surfers from Santa Cruz who got together in 1997 will blend reggae, punk, and 80s style dueling guitar solos. Highlighting Geoff Weers’ impressive guitar and vocals, Raul Bianchi on lead guitar, Ryan Demars on bass, and Adam Patterson on drums, The Expendables are sure to entertain concertgoers with Fort Lauderdale homes for sale.

The weekend will still be going for South Florida homeowners, as JJ Grey & Mofro will be playing at the Fillmore Miami Beach on Sunday, February 25. The crew out of Jacksonville will deliver their Southern soul rock mixed with funk and gospel. The material played onstage is symbolic where JJ grew up, reflecting artists like as Lynyrd Skynyrd and Jerry Reed, as well as Otis Redding’s soulful sounds. North Mississippi Allstars, The Marcus King Band, and Bobby Lee Rodgers will be performing as well.

Last but certainly not least, the Dead & Company will play for grateful fans at the BB&T Center in Sunrise on Monday, February 26. The fall leg of the 2017 tour was postponed after John Mayer’s emergency appendectomy and will honor ticks for the original show. The ensemble features original Grateful Dead members Mickey Hart, Bill Kreutzmann and Bob Weir, along with singer/guitarist John Mayer and the Allman Brothers’ bassist Oteil Burbridge. Continuing in the tradition of the Grateful Dead, they will draw from the Dead’s vast catalog. Whether they are die-hard Dead Heads or just looking for an exhilarating concert experience, Fort Lauderdale luxury homeowners are sure to have a blast.
