Fort Myers real estate owners certainly appreciate good films. That’s why a small group of friends and neighbors with Fort Myers real estate gets together roughly once a week to view and discuss a modern classic. Most recently, the group got together in a home for sale in Fort Myers to see Woody Allen’s best work, 1977’s Annie Hall.

Donald is a Fort Myers luxury homeowner who hosted the party. Donald explained that four decades ago, Woody Allen was a brilliant writer, director and actor, as evident in the Annie Hall. The other Fort Myers real estate owners learned that Woody is Alvy Singer, a comedian from Brooklyn who retraces the steps of his biggest heartbreak, Annie Hall.

The Fort Myers real estate owners learned that Allen employs several filmmaking tricks in Annie Hall. The scenes jump back and forth in time. Annie is able to see Alvy’s family when he was a child, while he observes her past encounters in the bedroom. The Fort Myers real estate owners love when Alvy speaks directly to the camera, a first in Hollywood films.

Michael, a group with three beautiful Fort Myers homes for sale claims that the character is hysterical, stating lines like “I can’t get with any religion that advertises in Popular Mechanics.” He later says “there’s a spider in your bathroom the size of a Buick.” Michael also told the other Fort Myers real estate owners that his favorite part is when Alvy seals the deal with Annie and claims, “That was the most fun I’ve ever had without laughing.”

The Fort Myers real estate owners watched the part when the pair decides to break up. Annie moves in with a Hollywood record company executive played by Art Garfunkel’s better half, Paul Simon.  Meanwhile, Alvy realizes he made an enormous mistake and wants to spend the rest of his life with her.

Donald told the other Fort Myers real estate owners that his favorite part is when the desperate man flies 3,000 miles to win back his woman. He explains that’s it’s so clean in Los Angeles “because they don’t throw their garbage away. They turn it into television shows.”

He pops the big question, but gets a big “No.” Immediately afterward, it’s priceless seeing Alvy trying to drive his car rental. Of course, he crashes it and talks back to a police officer, eventually getting thrown into jail. The Fort Myers real estate owners truly love Annie Hall.

Alvy ends up penning a play about his painful romance, adding a fictionalized happy ending. He has to go on knowing that he let Annie Hall slip away. They meet a few years later in the Big Apple and become friends. The Fort Myers real estate owners agree that it’s sad seeing Alvy wrap things up by musing about painful and complex liaisons simply being a part of everyday life. In the end, Annie Hall shows Fort Myers real estate owners that matters of the heart are totally irrational, crazy and absurd.
