You don’t need to hit Clematis Street in Downtown West Palm Beach to have a fun time or spend a small fortune taking the family out to the cinema. The popcorn alone will cost you too much money. All a Palm Beach Gardens real estate owner has to do to entertain his or her family for a few hours is watch fantastic film from the Eighties to laugh out loud. For instance, Three Men and a Baby 1987, Baby Boom, and Marries to the Mob are all modern classics. You can pop your own corn in the microwave.

In 1987, Dr. Spock met Mr. Spock in director Leonard Nimoy’s PG Three Men and a Baby. A trio of successful playboys in the Big Apple, Tom Selleck, Steve Guttenberg, and Ted Danson become surrogate fathers to Mary, a 6-month-old left on their doorstep. The bachelors suddenly have to put their lives on hold and become responsible. But it’s not so easy. Not unlike Diane Keaton, Selleck is an architect that builds 50-story skyscrapers, but he can’t change a diaper. In fact, he offers $1,000 to anybody willing to do the dirty deed. Eventually, Magnum and his studly roommates learn to love the little chick-magnet. It’s far from realistic, but Three Men and a Baby is certainly entertaining for the whole family.

People in homes for sale in Palm Beach Gardens can also enjoy Baby Boom. With no connection to Mr. Mom and Birdman’s Michael, Diane Keaton is the “Tiger Lady,” a high-powered management consultant. In the adorable PG selection from 1987, she’s a workaholic in New York City who inherits a baby girl from an overseas cousin she hasn’t seen in decades. Immediately she becomes a mother. It’s a hoot watching the business tycoon carrying the child like a football, and popping Valium just to take the kid’s temperature. Mrs. Corleone can run a Fortune 500 company but can’t change a diaper. She quickly decides to give the baby up for adoption but has a change of heart. The decision drives her man away and interferes with her lucrative career. Keaton’s stressful life is left behind when the two relocate to Vermont. Away from the Big Apple, Keaton invents “Country Baby” food and concentrates on being a mother. The city’s rat race has to survive with one less rat.

Married to the Mob is an adorable romantic comedy from 1988. A young and gorgeous Michelle Pfeiffer is the wife of a wise guy named Frank “Cucumber,” played by a young and skinny Alec Baldwin of 30 Rock. After living as a connected wife, the big-haired princess is bored of her life in Queens. While Mathew Modine, Oliver Platt, Chris Isaac, and Joan Cusack appear, the spotlight is stolen by one gangster’s jealous wife, Mercedes Ruhl. Even in a blood bath of husband and wife swapping, a new relationship may develop with a federal agent. The superb characterization helps show Palm Beach Gardens luxury homeowners that anyone can earn a second chance at love.
