How can any Aventura real estate owner forget Robin Williams? The hysterical comedian and actor who took his own life almost 3 years ago. We can all remember his fast-talking humor by watching some of his best work, including his stand-up special Robin Williams Live at the Met.

The hilarious film from 1986 cannot be found on Netflix. Internet shoppers can find it easily enough at eBay and Amazon. Williams questions male genitalia if it could be called up as a witness in divorce court. Fortunately, the man’s Live on Broadway from 2002 can be found easily enough. As Williams explains, “This is not going to be your normal night of theater.”

The trickster with piercing blue eyes imitates everyone from Texans to Canadians and Scots. Subjects examined entail silicone implants, figure skating, and the gay mafia. Mork explains that Keith Richards is “the only man who can make the Osbournes look like the Osmonds.” The most memorable scene entails a woman’s view of how a man looks just before he starts snoring. Dressed in an artsy black button-down and black slacks, he appears to be hyper, yet in total control for hours. Williams is the Mick Jagger of stand-up.

Folks in homes for sale in Aventura may also enjoy 2006’s Happy Feet. The penguin-filled musical is a digitally animated film, offering amazing visual effects. Elijah Wood is the voice of Mumble, also known as “Happy Feet.” Other celebrity voices heard include Nicole Kidman, Brittany Murphy, Hugh Jackson, and funny man, Williams as three different characters.

Mumble is not like any of the other penguins, as he ceases to possess a singer’s voice. Rather, he can dance up a storm. But dancing is frowned upon and ends up causing him to be ostracized from the penguin population. The loner ventures overseas to find the “aliens” who are taking the birds’ food supply. He does locate humans but gets thrown behind bars in a zoo. But by tapping his feet enough, the penguin gains global attention. He used the recognition to help Antarctica’s famine and eventually saves his entire community. Not to mention, Mumble ends up getting the female penguin of his dreams.

In 2007, spectators scored one of the year’s funniest movies across the nation. License to Wed revolves around the newly engaged couple, Mandy Moore, and The Office’s Jon Krasinski, who run into a bump in the road while planning their wedding.

The bride-to-be always dreamed of a traditional ceremony held at her family’s church, St. Augustine’s. However, it only has one wedding slot available in the next two years, and the couple must pass the approval of the charismatic pastor, Reverend Frank, played by Williams. The holy man’s two-week “patented, foolproof, marriage-prep course” is a comical series of classes and complete outlandish homework assignments just to prove they’re truly meant to be together. As Aventura luxury homeowners get to see, the young couple is about to find out if they really have what it takes to make it to the altar, and live happily ever after.
