Jimmy, his wife, Jen, and their teenage son, Billy, all live in a comfortable piece of Windermere FL real estate with four bedrooms. Being as he is the only child, Billy is a little spoiled. Not only does he get all the new video games to himself, he also enjoys his own bathroom and bedroom. Billy even decorated his room on his own. He always has. Jimmy is proud of Billy’s art, as it reminds him of his own childhood.

When Jimmy was a high school athlete in the 90s, his bedroom was covered with memorabilia of the day’s biggest stars, such as the Chicago Bulls’ Michael Jordan, the Dallas Cowboys’ Troy Aikman, and his hometown favorite, Dan Marino of the Dolphins. There were framed posters, autographed photos, and memorable jerseys on display throughout the bedroom. Nowadays, Billy’s decorations are not unlike his fathers used to be. While Billy doesn’t appreciate Michael Jordan’s skills, he still has a subway size Nike poster of LeBron James, Nike’s super basketball star of the new generation.

At the same time, Jimmy always flaunted his appreciation of classic rock bands, such as the Beatles, the mighty Led Zeppelin, and Pink Floyd. Sure, all three bands were a little before his time, but Jimmy grew up listening to classic rock radio stations, as well as the 90s grunge of his day, including everyone from Nirvana and Jane’s Addiction to Pearl Jam and the Beastie Boys. In fact, he still remembers purchasing some of the timeless cassette tapes and CDs in stores like Peaches.

Obviously, Billy grew up hearing all of these bands. Fortunately, the child likes them just as much as his old man. The big difference is that Billy doesn’t listen to them on cassette. Nor does he hear the compact discs. And Billy wouldn’t even know how to play a record on vinyl if he ever got ahold of one. The young man just downloads everything instantly to his iPod or iPad. It just doesn’t seem fair that he doesn’t get to enjoy full albums or their cover art. But at least he still appreciates the good stuff. Jimmy is proud of the little classic rocker that lives in his home for sale in Windermere FL.

Finally, there is the family dog. Jimmy grew up with a chocolate Labrador retriever named Terri. She was the love of his life. Not only did Terri become a school mascot when he was in high school, she also went to college at Florida State University with him. These days, Billy has a four-legged partner in crime of his own. Taco is a yellow Labrador retriever. The two wrestle, throw smacks and even bite a little bit. But there are never any real injuries, as neither of the best friends would intentionally harm the other.

Whether it’s Billy’s art on the walls, music on his iPad, or big dog on the bed, the child’s room in his Windermere FL luxury home sparks special memories for his old man.
