If you are a Beatles lover at heart, you will be excited to learn that the 50th anniversary reissue of Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band is now in the works. Released on May 26th, the 1967 album will come with extra bonus materials, but Fab Fans will just have to wait for details on the new goodies.

Consumers in Lakewood Ranch real estate will get to choose from a 6-disc Super Deluxe Edition, two-CD, two-LP and single-CDs. We do know that the bonus features will include unheard outtakes, not unlike the Beatles Anthologies.

The Super Deluxe Edition will come with over an hour and a half of outtakes, and a mono mix of the band in the studio. Promising gems for people with homes for sale in Lakewood Ranch include a never released version of “Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds.” There will also be an informative documentary, as well as a large booklet, and a couple of posters of the boys decked out in their Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band attire. The album will include “Strawberry Fields Forever” and “Penny Lane,” two numbers that for some strange reason, didn’t make the original album.

Paul came up with the idea of an alter-ego band that allowed the Beatles the freedom to pursue new sounds. The LP was so technologically advanced with extremely complex arrangements for its day, it would be impossible to replicate on a stage. Sgt. Pepper’s established new standards for studio recording and created the notion of the musician as a true artist.

Fifty years ago, Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band took Baby-Boomers with Lakewood Ranch homes for sale on a revolution, as the record was popular music’s first taste of “acid rock,” relaying messages of love and risqué poetry to the masses. Winning four Grammys, including ‘Best Album,’ Sgt. Pepper’s defines The Beatles and their timeless legacy.

Sgt. Pepper’s is known as rock’s first concept album, meaning that all the songs contribute to a single effect or unified story. For Sgt. Pepper’s, the members of a fictional band each adopt a persona. Some concept albums from the States stemming from Sgt. Pepper’s include The Beach Boys’ 1968 Little Deuce Coupe, featuring various car related songs explaining America’s car culture. The same year, the band released Pet Sounds, an autobiographical work about love and life. The following year, The Jimi Hendrix Experience recorded Axis: Bold As Love, the tale of one man’s journey for true love on the earth’s axis. The year 1969 featured the British Who’s Tommy, the tale of a deaf, dumb and blind pinball wizard. The same year, The Kinks sang about a middle-aged man who gradually loses touch with society in their concept album, Arthur or the Decline and Fall of the British Empire.

In the December 2002 issue of Rolling Stone, Sgt. Pepper’s is ranked the Number 1 greatest album of all time, labeled the most important album made, as far as songwriting, cover art, and studio technology.

Make sure to add a version of Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band to your Lakewood Ranch luxury home. Prices range from $149.98 for the Super Deluxe Edition down to $18.98 for a single disc.
