Delray Beach real estate owners are fortunate that September will be a fabulous one for live music. In fact, there are top-notch shows taking place throughout the month everywhere from Delray Beach and Boca Raton to Fort Lauderdale and Miami Beach.

Folks with homes for sale in Delray Beach don’t have to travel far to experience local blues guitar sensation Joel DaSilva headlining in the city’s Arts Garage on September 10. Joel will be premiering his newest CD, Everyone From Here. Concertgoers look forward to hearing the cuts singles, such as “Shake,” that combine elements of lo fi garage blues with a driving roots beat. DaSilva has been fortunate enough to work alongside such widely recognized and diverse artists as B.B. King, Ray Charles, the White Stripes, Leon Russell, and the Black Crowes. DaSilva has performed well over 1,000 shows from Los Angeles to London, including Montreal International Jazz and Blues Festival, The IBC Challenges in Memphis and opening for Jeff Beck at SunFest.

One week later, September 17, South Florida music lovers can experience P.O.D. at Revolution Live in Fort Lauderdale. Stemming from San Diego, P.O.D. (Payable on Death) have sold more than 10 million albums around the globe, as well as headlined successful tours and topped the charts. In the last two decades, P.O.D. has released the triple-platinum Satellite, experienced massive success with radio hits, like “Youth of the Nation,” and “Beautiful,” while their No. 1 single, “Lost in Forever” received three Grammy nominations.

The same night, music fans with homes for sale in Delray Beach can check out the Melvins at Culture Room in Fort Lauderdale. Since 1983, the hardcore punk band has been mixing metal into their garage sound, influencing everyone from Nirvana to Tool. Currently on the road with their 2017 release, A Walk with Love & Death, the work is the combination of two different albums. First is Love, fourteen songs that are used as the soundtrack to a short film by Jesse Nieminen, along with nine cuts making up Death. South Florida concertgoers can look forward to seeing bass guitarist Steven McDonald on stage with the Melvins for the first time.

The following Saturday night, September 23, Four80East will be performing their electro-jazz at The Funky Biscuit in Boca Raton. The duo of Rob DeBoer and Tony Grace have created a signature bass-propelled sound that enthralls audiences. Since breaking out with their critically acclaimed first release “The Album,” in 1997, Four80East has been a mainstay on contemporary jazz radio and touring circuits. Although Four80East was born as a studio project, they have been able to transform their layered and captivating sonic productions into a high-energy live show with the help of many world class session musicians who join them on stage.

Finally, concertgoers from Delray Beach luxury homes can close out the month in South Beach when Mutemath performs at The Fillmore. The Grammy-nominated electro-experimental band will play cuts from their fifth studio album, Play Dead, such as “Hit Parade.” Mutemath took an unhinged and unguarded approach on the album, while also pulling inspiration from previous albums, including 2011’s popular Odd Soul.
