There is a group of Melbourne / Space Coast real estate owners who all hung out together when Hurricane Irma hit at the end of last weekend. Granted they have all been living next to each other for almost a decade, but they are still best buddies. In order to get ready for the hurricane, they helped one another put up shutters, as well as carry in outside furniture. In the days leading up to the natural disaster, they kept an eye out for gas stations with fuel and immediately texted the others when stations had some in stock.

The best was when the neighborhood regained its power on Thursday night. For the first time in days, everyone was able to enjoy cold air after a warm shower. There is now no more generators making noise or pocket fans killing batteries. Each neighbor felt fully rejuvenated. They all looked marvelous. Everybody smelled better too.

There are half a dozen kids that live in a little neighborhood. Even if they all differ in age and grades, they are still buddies. The boys ride their bikes, while the girls listen to music and check out cute guys on mobile apps. All are like big and little brothers and sisters to one another. It’s like one giant family living in different Melbourne / Space Coast luxury homes located in a single neighborhood.

Each of the families on the block has a dog or two. Every morning, they all go on long walks together. It can be funny to watch, as the canines range in size from a toy poodle to an enormous golden retriever. Yet they all get along wonderfully, despite little Missy’s Napoleon complex. The best part about it is they never have to worry about finding a babysitter. Every neighbor has another one’s key and the alarm code. That way, they can always let themselves in to let the dogs out, as well as feed them and give them cold water. Of course, the hardest part is when one of them passes on and the others are obviously sad. At least all dogs go to heaven.

Of course, the fathers in the neighborhoods are excited that NFL football is back. Now they can enjoy their neighborhood cookouts every Sunday. But be careful, as the guys tend to drink a bit too much beer at these events. Then they begin arguing with each other over the best picks and the worst calls made by referees. The man of the house may even call his neighbor’s wife a Bigfoot. Not only does she possess a mustache, but she sure can climb a tree. Of course, there are still family cookouts in the summertime. Rather than football, the dads yell at one another about the greatest boxers who ever lived. Is it Mike Tyson, Cassius Clay or Joe Lewis? The answer all depends on how old Joe Lewis was when he was fighting.

Look for the right home for sale in Melbourne / Space Coast, and you can live in a neighborhood that is just as much fun.
