A group of Oviedo real estate owners enjoys getting together every weekend to watch old television shows and spectacular movies that go largely unsung. Some of the group members own one bedroom apartments on the gorgeous beach, while others live in beautiful houses out west. Last week, the Oviedo real estate group explored the laugh out loud comedy of Ben Stiller’s comedic program.

The Oviedo real estate crew learned that The Ben Stiller Show aired in 1992, six years before There’s Something About Mary put the actor on top of the Hollywood A-list. People in the Oviedo real estate owners group all agreed that it was downright hilarious. Unfortunately, the skits’ disappointing ratings caused it to be cancelled too soon. Of course, Jason Kahn, a longtime member of the Oviedo real estate owners group explained that The Ben Stiller Show still picked up an Emmy for best writing and earned a small following.

Mr. Kahan, who is always looking to turnaround homes for sale in Oviedo, claimed that the variety program specialized in outrageous parodies of the time period’s mass media. Directed by John Fortenberry, and costarring Andy Dick and Janeane Garofalo, some of the short gimmicks are unmatched. For example, just about every member of the Oviedo real estate owners group loved Ben Stiller’s Rockumentary: U2 The Early Years.

Mr. Kahan explained the brilliance of Bono’s dialogue to the owners of Oviedo luxury homes. The character says they had an awful manager, Mr. Kinkaid, who didn’t understand their music. The four Irishmen perform at children’s’ parties, but that doesn’t stop Bono from lecturing about what’s going on in Northern Ireland. Every man and woman in the Oviedo real estate owners group was hysterical with laughter.

Mrs. Green is the owner of an Oviedo luxury home who appreciates The Ben Stiller Show as well. She quoted her favorite part; “He should’ve named the group Me Too, not U2,” their former manager says about the materialistically oriented Bono. He chats about the Irishman’s god complex, and proudly states “When all else fails, there’s always product endorsements.” Again, folks in the Oviedo real estate owners group were rolling on the floor.

Other memorable skits mentioned by someone in the Oviedo real estate owners group include phenomenal writing that parodies everything from Star Trek, a Metallica interview, a “Drugs are Bad” public service announcement and Tom Cruise’s one-man Broadway hit to Die Hard 12: Die Hungry and Woody Allen’s Bride of Frankenstein.

Heather, a single mother with an Oviedo home for sale appreciates when The Show takes advantage of star power. Its guest appearances include short scenes with Bruce Willis, Roseanne Barr, Tom Arnold and Garry Shandling. the Oviedo real estate owners group members all seem to agree that Ben Stiller allows his comical genius to shine through on the program. Check out the fully-loaded DVD set. The two discs feature one dozen original episodes, topped with an unaired surprise. Or better yet, you can get a quick taste of The Show by watching on YouTube.
