Thousands of Fort Lauderdale real estate owners are already getting excited for 2018, as January will certainly be an entertaining month for music lovers. From live rock and roll and singing the blues to late night dance parties and raves, men and women will certainly have a blast throughout South Florida’s most entertaining venues. Regardless of a homeowner’s age, sex, or particular style, there is sure to be a live performance in January that will have him or her dancing like no one is watching.

For starters, the Travelin’ McCourys will be headlining at The Funky Biscuit in East Boca Raton on Friday, January 19. The offspring of bluegrass icon Del McCoury, Ronnie McCoury will jam on the mandolin, while Rob McCoury will pick away at his banjo. Joined by fiddler Jason Carter and bassist Alan Bartram, the ensemble is loved and respected. The Travelin’ McCourys have shared a stage with everyone from the Allman Brothers to Phish. Local boys Uproot Hootenanny will open with their roots music.

Supporting their latest release Wonderful Wonderful, indie rockers The Killers will play Miami’s American Airlines Arena on Tuesday, January 23. Reaching the top of the charts with five different albums since 2004, the boys from Las Vegas have already sold roughly 22 million records. In fact, The Killers have now played in more than 50 countries around the globe. Known for his high-concept act in which he adopted the persona of a failed entertainer, Australia’s Alex Cameron is scheduled to open for the Killers.

Rocking men and women with homes for sale in Fort Lauderdale will be experiencing Black Rebel Motorcycle Club at Revolution Live on Wednesday, January 24. For the last 15 years, the dynamic ensemble is touring with their sixth studio album, Specter at the Feast. Meshing blues with punk onstage, the crew rumbles with driving rhythms and soars with skyward-arcing guitar howls. Taking cues from all points of the band’s many years on the road, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club is now veterans on the touring circuit.

Folks with homes for sale in Fort Lauderdale will also be interested in They Might Be Giants coming to Culture Room on Friday, January 26. Since the Eighties, the alternative trio now has 19 albums to pull from, as well as two Grammy winning numbers, like Malcolm in the Middle’s theme song, “Boss of Me.” After the release of I Like Fun on January 19, TMBG will finish their 50 city US tour and head to the British Isles, as well as shows in continental Europe.

Last but certainly not least, Fort Lauderdale luxury homeowners can enjoy Majid Jordan
at the Fillmore Miami Beach at Jackie Gleason Theater on Sunday, January 28. The Canadian R&B duo composed of Majid Al Maskati and Jordan Ullman is currently on tour to support October’s highly successful release, The Space Between. Majid Jordan was featured on Drake’s hit single “Hold On, We’re Going Home” from his platinum selling album Nothing Was the Same, and are sure to have thousands dancing on South Beach.
