That’s why Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Realty / Prudential Real Estate Affiliates adopted The Sunshine Kids Foundation as a network-wide charity in 1991, and since 2001 has raised over $3.5 million in donations for the foundation.
The Sunshine Kids Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing positive group activities and emotional support for young cancer patients, free of charge to kids who are receiving cancer treatments throughout hospitals across North America. The Sunshine Kids is a 501(c) (3) classification and is not dependent on government funding.
Throughout the state of Florida, Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Realty Sales Professionals sponsors and organize fundraising events from silent auctions to casino nights on behalf of Sunshine Kids. As a result of the efforts of the sales professionals and team members and those of other Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices affiliates in North America, thousands of children from hospitals across the country are enjoying group activities, adventure trips and the emotional support they need during one of the most difficult times of their young lives.
