Announced prior to the 2015 REALTORS® Conference & Expo, this latest achievement for Vira is just another step on her road to success. President’s Liaisons are NAR members, appointed by the NAR President to serve as liaisons to real estate professionals in their assigned country. Vira will be working to help maintain NAR’s relationships with its cooperating associations in Portugal. President’s Liaison appointees are generally CIPS designees and, ideally, have some knowledge of the country’s real estate practice, culture, and language. Vira’s fluency in Portuguese and Spanish will serve her well as she works to build business relationships with organizations and private companies in Portugal over the next year.
This recent appointment adds to Vira’s long list of accomplishments, which include her certification as a Corporate Relocation Specialist (CRS) and earning the designation as a Short Sales and Foreclosures Resource (SFR) professional, CIPS (Certified International Property Specialist) and TRC certifications (Transnational Referral Certified). She also gives back to the community with her involvement with the AAUW (American Association of University Women) an organization that promotes equity and education for women and girls.
