Men and women with Weston real estate are ecstatic to see Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers their 40th Anniversary Tour on Friday, May 5th. On the road with their 40th Anniversary Tour at Perfect Vodka Amphitheatre in West Palm Beach. Numerous Weston luxury homeowners are already preparing for the event by reliving the band’s concert from a few years ago.

Tickets ranged anywhere from $54 a seat to 24 bucks to sit on the grass, and teenagers meshed with grandparents at the show. To kick off the excitement, the thin framed superstar walked to the center of the stage wearing brown hippie pants, a button down that displayed his bare chest with long blonde hair draping over, and a clean shave.

Without verbally addressing folks with Weston homes for sale in the crowd, Tom began; “It was a beautiful day. The sun beat down.” Thousands jumped to their feet and sang along to the Nineties classic “Running Down a Dream.”

Following the number, the Traveling Wilbury gave his crowd an earnest bow. Half of the crowd took a seat during the second number, “Won’t Back Down,” and Tom spoke for the first time. “Good to see you again. It’s a nice night for rock and roll.”

During “Mary Jane’s Last Dance,” thousands sang the joyful lyrics about healing the pain of everyday life, and the stage lights turned yellow, and then orange. Meanwhile, trippy videos were projected onto the backdrop behind the stage. The number was concluded by an extended solo on the drums.

In the middle of “You Don’t Know How it Feels,” Tom took control of a guitar solo, backed by a grand piano on the stage and clapping from the stands. They all started groovin’ to “It’s Good to be King.”

“You’re not going to hear that song selling no car or no credit card,” Tom explained. “This band has no corporate sponsor. The Heartbreakers then blessed the audience with slower, acoustic versions of both “Learning to Fly” and “You’re So Bad.”

Spotlights then shot over the crowd during “Refugee,” the mid-Seventies anthem about struggling to pursue one’s dreams. Almost two hours had flown by the time The Heartbreakers grabbed their one stage-break after playing “You Wreck Me.”

Kicking into “Free Fallin'” for the encore, the people up front threw their arms around each other, swayed and sang the familiar lyrics. Tom asked the people if they were ready, and shot into the fun Van Morrison cover, “Gloria,” before the Heartbreakers played the 1976 classic “American Girl.”

Everyone was on their feet as the song wound down with an extended conclusion. Tom waved his arms in gigantic circles, striking his 6-string and saluted us farewell. Each musician stepped to front of the stage, wrapped arms around each other and gave the crowd a final bow. “Let’s get together real soon,” Petty shouted as he exited the stage. It looks like Petty is getting his wish, as hundreds of fans with Weston Florida real estate condos with be rocking out to the Heartbreakers in the next few months.
