Jimmy is a middle-aged businessman who currently lives in a beautiful piece of Boca Raton real estate. While Jimmy and his wife don’t have any children, they consider themselves to be blessed with two marvelous dogs. You see, Jimmy has always had dogs since he was old enough to walk. After growing up with yappy toy poodles, he was confident he wanted a big dog or two to call his own.

It all started when Jimmy when away to college. Attending Florida State University in Tallahassee, he rescued a gorgeous American Eskimo from the pound named Pooky. She was a timid girl who never barked. In fact, Jimmy heard her bark no more than five times in the fourteen years that he cared for her. Following graduation, Jimmy and Pooky moved to a small but picturesque apartment in Boca Raton’s Mizner Park. He loved the fact that he didn’t even have to leave his balcony to experience live concerts for free.

Before Pooky passed in her sleep, Jimmy went back to the pound and saved another life. This time, he picked a yellow Labrador Retriever named Charlie. This dog was even more outgoing than Pooky, constantly giving kisses to everybody and anybody who she could get her tongue on. At the same time, Charlie could look and sound ferocious at the drop of a hat. In fact, when Jimmy found a small home for sale in Boca Raton near Town Center Mall, he didn’t even need to install an alarm system. Charlie’s presence was more than enough to scare away any unwanted guests.

Within a year of moving into the new home, Jimmy decided to get Charlie a sister. That’s when he and his new wife went shopping at the Tri-County Animal Rescue in Boca Raton. Immediately, they fell in love with a giant bull mastiff named Terri. This dog was just as protective as Charlie. However, she was a runner. Every morning, Jimmy would take her jogging for at least 2 miles around the neighborhood. They tried to bring Charlie, but she just couldn’t keep up. Lazy dog.

Roughly 10 years went by and Jimmy loved his family of four. But eventually, both dogs grew old and sick. They both passed within 6 months of one another. That was when Jimmy and his wife went to work searching the web. Located at a pound in West Palm Beach, they found a massive baby named Marley. Unlike Charlie and Terri, the 125-pound Golden Retriever is scared of his own shadow. It’s a good thing Marley is so cute because the dog literally pees on the floor when thunder strikes. Not wanting Marley to be an only child, Jimmy and his wife returned to the pound to get Taco, a 75 pound Dalmatian. Just like Charlie and Terri, Marley and Taco are inseparable. They also keep Jimmy’s Boca Raton luxury home nice and safe.

When the man’s teenage nephew asked Jimmy which was the best dog he ever had, the question was impossible to answer. Every canine was marvelous in his or her own special way, even the big baby Marley who forgets he’s potty-trained every time there’s a storm outside.
