Rei Mesa Achieves National Association of REALTORS® Emeritus Status

June 2, 2021 (Sunrise, FL) – Rei Mesa, president, Chief Executive Officer, Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Realty has achieved the distinct honor of REALTOR® Emeritus with the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION of REALTORS®.

The status of REALTOR® Emeritus is awarded in recognition of 40 cumulative years in Membership of the National Association of REALTORS® and in recognition of valuable and lasting contribution to the real estate profession in the community.

Rei Mesa’s distinguished career spreads across many areas in the real estate industry.  As a Certified Real Estate Broker (CRB) and a Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), Rei is responsible for managing all aspects of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Realty, Real Estate Core Services including strategic growth, new business development, profit and loss, and acquisitions. Rei Mesa is widely recognized for his community involvement and leadership and is active in the real estate industry on the local, state, and national levels. Mesa is the past chair of the Large Residential Firms Real Estate Services Advisory Group and former Liaison for NAR’s Top 75 Large Brokers and NAR’s Second Century Ventures.  Rei is an NAR director, and has served on NAR’s Executive Committee, Corporate Investor Council, RPR Advisory Board, Realtor.com Advisory Board, and Project Upstream. Mesa was named by the Swanepoel Power 200 as one of North America’s Most Powerful and Influential Residential Real Estate Industry Leaders for the past eight years and is also included in RISMedia’s 2020 “Hall of Fame” Class of Real Estate Newsmakers and 2021 Real Estate “Achiever” Newsmaker – for his role and contributions to the real estate industry.

Under Rei’s leadership, Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Realty, Florida Real Estate Services has raised more than $3.8 Million dollars for the Sunshine Kids and is recognized as the Network’s #1 fundraiser in Florida. The Sunshine Kids Foundation is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing positive group activities and emotional support for young cancer patients.
