Are you an Oviedo real estate owner who is wondering what to get your husband, wife or maybe even yourself for Christmas? Well, there is one perfect answer for anyone in an Oviedo luxury home. No Oviedo real estate owner should be without The Concert for Bangladesh – George Harrison and Friends.

Erika Gould is a professor who owns a couple beautiful Oviedo homes for sale. She explained that before Live Aid, hunger-ridden Bangladesh became a disaster zone after a cyclone wiped out 300,000 residents. Indian sitar master Ravi Shankar planned the historical event with a little help from his friend George Harrison. According to the woman with two homes for sale in Oviedo, the former Beatle quickly organized the first ever trend-setting charity event, The Concert for Bangladesh – George Harrison and Friends in Madison Square Garden on August 1st, 1971.

The professor watches the DVD in her living room on her Oviedo real estate. Following a quick interview with George at The Concert for Bangladesh’s press conference, the show kicks off with serious Indian music, setting the mood in New York.

George’s set entails numbers from his solo work and the number written for the event, “Bangladesh.” He also sings a few Fab classics never before seen live on the TV at her Oviedo real estate, including “Here Comes the Sun” and “Something.”

Erika loves when George exchanges impressive solos with Eric Clapton during “While My Guitar Gently Weeps.” Billy Preston sings the extended gospel number, “That the Way God Planned It.” Ringo Starr even plays some drums for his mates and sang “It Don’t Come Easy.” Yet, the Oviedo real estate owner’s favorite part was watching Bob Dylan, who hadn’t played live in five years, recreate “A Hard Rain’s A-Gonna Fall,” “Blowin’ In the Wind” and “Just Like A Woman.”

David Lester is Erika neighbor who also owns sizable Oviedo real estate. For Christmas, he just bought his wife the two-disc Grammy-winning DVD that was shot on 16mm by director Saul Swimmer. Additional material on the bonus disc includes 72-minutes of documentaries, videos of the sound check, an afternoon performance and a rehearsal where George and Dylan keep constant eye contact while singing “If Not for You.” Which the Oviedo real estate owner is going to enjoy it more, David or his wife?

David’s best friend is Jay Holmes, another Oviedo real estate who recently purchased the DVD. His favorite part is hearing Clapton famous quote about the show. In fact, Jay can recite it to the other Oviedo real estate owners: “This will always be remembered as a time that we could be proud of being musicians. We weren’t just thinking of ourselves for five minutes.”

Oviedo real estate owners learned that the 99-minute show earned $250,000 thousand for UNICEF (United Nations Children’s Fund). Royalties from the movie and album are closer to $15 million. Now Oviedo real estate owners can easily see why The Concert for Bangladesh became the model for decades’ worth of relief efforts by rock stars.
